Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what data The HR Talks collects and how we use it. We collect only the minimum we need to run the site.

What we collect

  • Newsletter subscribers: your email address and preferred language, when you voluntarily subscribe.
  • Contact form: the name, email, subject, and message you submit to us.
  • Contributing editors: name, email, phone number, LinkedIn URL, portfolio link or bio, and profile photo — used to verify identity and to credit published work.
  • Content analytics: aggregate view counts and an anonymous visitor identifier, used to measure content performance. We do not sell this data.

How we use it

We use your data to send the newsletter you asked for, reply to your messages, manage editor accounts and credit published work, and understand which content is useful. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

Service providers

The site relies on infrastructure providers for hosting, database, authentication, and file storage. They process data only on our behalf and in line with this policy.

Retention

We keep subscriber emails until you unsubscribe, contact messages for as long as they remain relevant, and editor account data for as long as the account is active.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or unsubscribe, at any time. Editors can edit their own details directly from their profile page. For anything else, reach us through the contact page.

Cookies

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
