This is the month of Ramadan and 23% of  the world Muslim population is celebrating this holy month.Mostly people observing the fast and follow all religious practices.The fast involve physical and mental effort. The HR manager,Stake holders and other staff   need to understand the personal and religious sensitivities of their staff. Organization need to implement basic policies for nurturing mutual trust and this will lead to a happy ,energetic and high morale employees, which leads to higher employee retention.There are the few practices which can be followed by HR during Ramadan so that produce more efficient and productive employees, like Flexi-timing according to the employees, try to avoid food items near to fasting employees,avoid meeting during the evening as its their prayer timing ,providing leave etc.  These HR Practices help in a happier and more effective team.
